My handsome nephew and his beautiful new bride.....

First of all let me just say I adore the textures in these photos!  But not as much as a adore this couple.  Very happy for my nephew and proud of the man he has become.  I know that it has been a long tough road but he has come out on top and God has done a huge work in his favor.  Their love comes so natural and it is obvious that they "get each other." My prayer is that their marriage is blessed beyond measure and that they do big things with the gifts that God has given them and the testimonies that they have.  Love you guys from the bottom of my heart.

Coming back with a bang!

I know that I have been absent for a long while....shame on me!  I want to be really transparent.  Honestly there has been lots of doubts that race through my head about what I should be doing with my career.  I love my camera and all of my precious clients but with the poor economy and all it has really put a damper on my business.

I went to Florida to shoot a wedding and had lots of time to think without all of my normal distractions and I found some clarity about everything.  So with that being said there will be some changes (for the good) with my business. I am ready to put on the boxing gloves and enter the ring. This gift that I have should be used to its full potential and is worth the fight. I am sure that this will be somewhat of a slow process but I want to do it right.  :)  I appreciate everyone's support and look forward to sharing this adventure with my future clients.

This session was really special to me.  It made me think a lot about my two kids growing up since I have two and my oldest is also a boy. 

To me they were really transparent and it made them easy to photograph. Love how you can see the connections in each photo.  I am only posting a few but all of their photos captured this.  I hope they enjoy them as much as I do.

I have to say this lovely girl had one of the easiest faces to photograph.  Her skin is flawless and creamy and her dark features I totally adore.  She is as sweet on the inside as she is on the outside.

I just have to share....i snapped a few with her mother and sister.  They had a really rough past year and are pulling through it beautifully.  It changes you to see this sort of connection in others....very inspiring.
