We started a garden in Feb. my husband did most of the hard work...thanks babe! (oh and luckily we have a strong, willing to sweat teenage boy!) But, we have tried to have the kiddos involved through a lot of the process. Lots of friends have asked to see photos so.... I will first post photos of the beginning and then some of last week. What is really crazy is that I need to take some more because it has changed so much in such a short time.
Honestly I had no clue how much I was about to enjoy this whole garden thing....but I am totally hooked!! I really enjoy the time with my main squeeze and love seeing my kids be productive.
oh and just FYI....
we have planted:
lettuces (spring mix, arugala, and romaine)
onions (purlpe and white)
yellow potatoes
sugar snap peas
pole beans
grape tomatos
roma tomatos
english cucumbers
melon
basil
dill
and we plan on adding in strawberries, some more herbs and carrots very soon!!
